Dental Insurance Policy
Your dental insurance is based on a contract between you, your employer, and the insurance company. Dental benefits vary from plan to plan. Insurance companies set their own schedules, and each company uses a different set of fees, which they consider allowable. Our front desk staff will work with you so that you understand all of your plan’s specific benefits.
We are an “out-of-network” provider. We want you to understand that we work for you, not the insurance company. Because we believe our responsibility is to our patients directly, we do not participate in any PPO (preferred provider organization) or HMOs where a third party determines the doctor-patient relationship. Our fees are the same, regardless of whether a patient has insurance.
As a courtesy to you, we can submit a preauthorization form to your insurance company before extensive procedures that will let you know how much they will cover. Also, to expedite your reimbursement of benefits, we will provide you with a detailed claim form to submit to your insurance company at the time of service.
Financing Your Dental Care
We offer patients the option to finance part or all of their treatment costs using Care Credit. Apply online to see if you qualify for convenient payment plans that suit your monthly budget.
